First, catch a bunch of Pokemon and have them just go to your first PC Box. Then, move a Pokemon from a Box and place it in any of the other empty Boxes on your PC. When all eight Boxes are filled, exit out of your PC and then access it again. You should now have Boxes 9 through 16.
How do I transfer Pokemon from home to sword?
First, open the Home app on the Switch. Go to the Pokémon option on the main menu, and select Sword or Shield from the options to connect to Home on the next screen. Can you transfer from bank to Omega Ruby?
If you transfer a Pokémon to Pokémon Bank and then on to Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon from Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X or Pokémon Y, you can’t transfer it back to Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X or Pokémon Y. You also can’t put any Pokémon holding items into Pokémon Bank.
Why can’t I move my Pokémon from Pokémon Bank?
The Pokémon that won’t transfer now have a light square background behind their icons in the Bank. This may not be intentional, but regardless, transferring Pokémon from Bank to Sun and Moon renders them incapable of being sent back to previous gens, regardless of their origin.
To trade locally, you don’t need an internet connection or a Nintendo Online subscription. To do so, open Pokémon Sword and Shield, and then press the Y button on your right Joy-Con controller to open Y-Comm. Select “Link Trade” at the top, and then choose “Set Link Code.”
Can you trade Pokémon between two accounts on the same switch?
Yes, you can trade between family members with the Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon HOME. Please keep in mind that some Pokémon, once moved to Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield, can’t be moved back to Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, even if the Pokémon was originally caught in those games.
